How Old is the Earth?

Do all creationists believe that the earth is a young 6,000 years old? What if the Bible supported the idea that the earth is really much older? And, does it really matter? It does matter if you are into arguing for a young earth with evolutionists. We, of course do not believe in evolution, but there could easily be something to the idea of an older earth. Check out this white paper.

The Time of the Rapture

As the world is "on fire," believers are eagerly awaiting the Rapture of the Church. That is when those who know Jesus as Savior will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. This will happen before the 7-year tribulation. When will the rapture happen? There are some pretty specific clues related to times and seasons pictured by the Jewish feasts. Richmond Shee explains in this white paper.

Rapture Announcement Letter to Neighbors

At the rapture, true believers will vanish, and that is going to astonish our unsaved neighbors and loved ones. Perhaps like us, you have shared the gospel with your neighbors and they have not received it. We wrote our neighbors a letter to read after the rapture. We have told them several times that we have something for them to read after we disappear, and we have told and shown them where that letter is. So, below is a template of the letter we are leaving. Feel free to download this and adjust it to suit yourself, print it and leave it for your neighbors or unsaved family. Before you do this:

A) Be sure to share the gospel with your neighbors/loved ones. If they reject it, tell them you are leaving them something to read after you are gone. Tell them where they will find it.

B) Be sure to find a gospel tract to include with your letter. You want them to have that witness.

Biblical Fasting: What is it?

In the quest for deep spiritual communion with God, many Christians embrace fasting, traditionally understood as abstaining from food. However, a closer examination of biblical teachings, particularly Isaiah 58 and insights from the Apostle Paul, suggests that true fasting goes beyond the physical act. It’s an inward posture that aligns with God’s commandments and intentions….

Are Tongues for Today?

In the cause of Christ, few topics have proven more divisive or more distracting from “the main thing” than that of speaking in tongues. At some point after salvation, it is almost inevitable that every new believer will be confronted with the question: Is there a place for tongues in the Christian life today?

Is the gift of prophecy for today? It’s a question that must be answered. Otherwise, God’s sheep are in danger of succumbing to the winds of false teaching from those who claim spiritual authority that God did not give them.

Do not believe everything you hear. Run it through the Word of God. What IS the gift of prophecy, after all? Read it in this white paper.

Clarifying the Gift of Prophecy

On What Day Did Jesus Die?

There has long been a misunderstanding regarding what day of the week Jesus died on. We talk about Good Friday, but He did not die on Friday. Click on the link for a one-page chart.

Mid-tribulation Appearance of Jesus Christ

Though not widely taught, the Bible points to a mid-tribulation appearance of Jesus Christ to the remnant Jews at which point they will finally recognize Him for who He is. Learn more about it in this white paper.
