Located in Kauai, Hawaii, we are Richmond and Jody Shee, devoted Bible teachers for years whose greatest passion is guiding believers into doctrinal depth leading to spiritual maturity. We see that the church is starving. Too much of our age focuses on the candy of the Word, emphasizing emotional highs, inspirational stories and surface-level comfort. These may stir the heart, but they do not build spiritual backbone.
About MasterTruth
Rightly dividing the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15), not simply reading for what feels good, but studying to discern doctrine, prophecy, typology, God’s character and Jesus Christ on every page of the Bible.
The King James Version of the Bible, which for us is the preserved Word of God—a book of precision in understanding what God is actually communicating.
A return to deep, patient, foundational study and teaching focused on doctrine rather than topics. (1 Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 3:16)
Proclaiming Christ in all the Scriptures—not as an add-on, but as the centerpiece of every chapter, every promise and every prophecy.
We don’t aim to be the loudest voice—but our goal is to be faithful. We dig to uncover truth and to support a remnant of the church that stands when the superficial fades. There are amazing treasures hidden in the Word, visible to those who will labor for it. (Proverbs 2)
We Stand For:
In many ministries …
Emphasis on inspiration: stories, motivational messages, emotional appeal.
Preferences for modern English translations that simplify or paraphrase.
Increased numbers seen as validation of ministry; size often prioritized.
Why MasterTruth is Different
With us …
Emphasis on doctrine: God never said to grow in inspiration. He said to grow in knowledge.
Use of the King James Version for its accuracy, theological consistency and historical roots.
Faithfulness seen as validation: to Scripture, to Christ and to teaching the whole counsel of God.
God is a triune God—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We are non-charismatic.
As God the Son, Jesus obeyed the Father, lived that perfect life of righteousness that we couldn’t live, died on the cross to take the punishment for our sin and disobedience, rose again the third day and is seated at the right hand of God making intercession for us.
He will return in the clouds soon to catch His bride/the church away in the rapture (before the 7-year tribulation) and take us to be with Him forever in heaven.
Hell is a literal place—the destiny of the devil and all those who do not believe in and receive Jesus Christ as personal savior.
The Bible was inspired and is preserved as the infallible Word of God. It contains everything we need for life and godliness. No one should add to it or take away from it.
The local church is where we function as the Body of Christ, and as we all do our gifted part, we look like Christ to the world.
Knowing all this, we have a message to share and to support. We are evangelical, believing it is our place to share the gospel through evangelism and missions. It is also our place to make disciples who will also do the same.
God’s different ways of dealing with people throughout the ages is according to His plan for that particular dispensation. We are in the dispensation of grace. The church does not replace Israel. God set Israel aside for a time until the end of the church/grace age. After we are raptured out, He resumes His work with the Jews/Israel until His second coming.
